Tips From the Technician:
"Always replace the thermal switch too if the thermal fuse has blown - A blown fuse indicates the switch has failed to do its job! This is a long job so you do not want to have to repeat anything.
The spade connectors I provide are lockable, as i've found non-lockable types can fall off when installing the boiler back in, which means you have to take the boiler out again :(
I'd recommend you first test the element and check for any punctures in the boiler to avoid unnecessary work. If your house fuse is tripping and you don't have any large leaks, then you very likely need a whole new boiler.

All i needed to get me back frothin!
The parts and tutorial fixed the problem. A few orings could of been handy. I thought quality of supplied spade connectors was poor. Had to use my own. But otherwise all good.
These are lockable ones that need to be soft enough to pinch. I changed over from the hard ones as I found they were vulnerable to falling out if the wires got snagged.
